Missing Out
Oil on canvas • 36” x 24”
When considering life choices and regret, I think it is so easy to look back and say well if I had done this one major life thing differently then my whole life would be better today. The real issue with that though is if you had a chance to do things over and you did make different choices, you would also lose the good and positive things you already have in your life. I think people pine for what could have been, and in that they neglect what already is.
The Loss of My Life Collection is about growing old and the choices we make that lead to how we do grow old… who we grow old with, or not, and how different life stories intersect between generations, locations, and perceived loss.
None of the pieces from this collection will be made into prints.
