Scratch My Brain/Scritch (Double Sided Painting)
Watercolour, Chalk Pastel, and Pencil on Archival Watercolour Paper • 15” x 11” • 2020
These mixed media pieces were created during the spring/summer of 2020. This piece in particular was interesting for me to stumble upon years later because I clearly painted both sides… and I love them both!! So I have included photos of them both and a video of me turning it around. I believe the blue/yellow/green side is the one I wanted to show but I really do like the pink and blue side too.
For this piece I would recommend hanging with a hanging frame like this so that you can flip it seasonally or when you want to change things up!
The chalk pastel is a little smudgy so please take care not to touch it!
