Late Summer Night | Original Oil Painting

This painting was done from a photo I took when my wife Grace and I were camping in Banff National Park. The glow on the water was much more subtle, but with this piece I wanted to play with some contrasting colours that would really vibrate together.
This June Shop Drop I was playing a lot with pre-mixing some beautiful pastels and blends, using lots of little brush marks and contrasting colours that vibrate next to each other, and creating whimsy in each piece.
