"Evening Delight" is a powerful sunset piece; it glows with chunky orange and yellow palette knife work. The sparkle in the water is created with pulls of the palette knife, where predictability and surprise create waves and movement. The sunset is one of the best we saw this summer while camping at Fish Lake in Alberta. The colours were spectacular and changing every second, resulting in hundreds of photos that never accurately captures the spectacular colours and shore side glow-bathing we experienced.
The Endless Summer Collection includes many sunsets, colourful skies, flowers, fields, lakes, and glowing warm memories of a summer well-lived. It’s of a time that you kind of don’t want to end when you can feel the next season of life pulling you in.
This painting needs more dry time and should be ready to ship or pick up by mid-October. Once purchased, I will be in touch regarding a more accurate time frame.
