This painting shows healing. It shows happiness. It’s about finding those things in yourself AND ALLOWING yourself to have it when you do find them. It’s about how when you lose something it just makes way for new. Flowers die and new ones grow. The garden of life doesn’t end, it just cycles.
Flowers in full bloom, the stage in their cycle before death. Sunsets in spectacular glory, the last show before dark. The Golden Hour Collection, for me, is a delightful celebration of the last decade of painting and my life, and a share of the love I have and had for the many people who came in and went.
